ELECTRIFIED RESIDENT DJ
Perth may be one of the most isolated cities in the world but it’s never forgotten as it churns out one world class act after another.
ShockOne and Pendulum dominate the global Drum and Bass scene.
Right now, Knife Party owns Electro.
And Rinski is about to redefine Hard Trance and smash it back into the forefront of EDM where it belongs.
After blowing the masses away with his debut at the iconic Rise nightclub Bedroom to Bigroom DJ competition, Rinski (aka Ryan Weddell) has been booked to play practically every single hard dance club night and event in Perth since.
Rinski’s passion for showcasing the harder styles in intricate and technically skilful sets fills dance floors and keeps them packed all night. This is one DJ that knows how to work a crowd! Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t long before the offers came flooding in which saw Rinski take up residencies with We Like It Hard and Alpha 6, support international and national artists including Shock:Force, Ben Stevens, Tommy Pulse, Steve Hill, Nomad, Hardforze and X-Dream to name a few, and play interstate events such as the popular King of Clubs brand (Melbourne).
Not satisfied with just mastering the decks, Rinski has moved into production where he has already released tracks on three respected UK labels with many more clamouring to sign him. Rinski’s unique style of blending uplifting and euphoric elements into hard, commanding basslines has resulted in the production of some absolute dancefloor bangers that have reinvigorated the hard trance sound.
Do Not Fuck With Us, released on Digitally Infected, reached number 16 on the Trackitdown charts and received massive support from Proteus and DJ Husband. Rinski’s remix of Joe – E’sThis is Sick, also on Digitally Infected, has been played by some of the industry’s top DJs. After much positive endorsement by Dean Zone, Metamorph Records headhunted Rinski’s remix skills for 100mg – Cosmos, which was recently released to industry acclaim:
“Rinski is one of the exciting new artists pushing the hard-euro sound. This remix reminds us of the early 2000 European hard trance days – but brought bang up to date. Hard, dark and really euphoric! Expect plays right across the board on this one…”
Costa Pantanzis (Head of Metamorph Records)
Be Quiet, Rinski’s latest production, due to drop soon on Zone Traxx, has already garnered huge support from top artists including DJ W (Holland), Dean Zone and Tricky DJ. This track is predicted to fly up the charts.
He has 3 more banging hard trancers finished and set for release later in 2012 on Digitally Infected, High Fish Digital and Chemical Solutions. Talented and driven, Rinski morphs the magic of old school hard trance with the sounds of the new school.
Prepare yourselves for the next onslaught of hard trance beats with Perth’s own Rinski firmly at the helm.
